Despite loss, Trojans gain valuable experience

California entered the season as a young team expecting to search for a consistent offensive effort night in and night out. Playing in their third game in as many days, the Trojans’ legs and offense in the second half couldn’t keep up with Southmoreland in a 74-50 setback Wednesday in the opening game of the final night of the cfsbank Holiday Tournament at Charleroi Area High School.
