Loretta M. Davis Aul – Belle Vernon, Washington Township

Loretta M. Davis Aul, 90, of Belle Vernon, Washington Township, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021, at her home. Born Dec. 2, 1931, in Greensburg, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Choker Davis. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Mrs. Aul was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, where she served as an Eucharistic minister and also at the former Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed writing poetry and working in the garden with her husband, George. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Anthony Bettile of Canfield, Ohio; son, George F. Aul of Belle Vernon; three grandchildren, Anthony Bettile, Brittany Bettile, Jessica Aul; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Lou and Frank Heilman of Belle Vernon; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband, George B. Aul. Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021, at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Prayers of Transfer will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 17, in the funeral home, followed by funeral Mass at noon at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Loretta knew there was a brighter light, then the Lord reached out His hand and she gently and humbly walked with Him. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in memory of Loretta M. Aul to St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church.
