Elizabeth Township residents are encouraged to participate in the next step of the township’s comprehensive plan.

Public input sessions have been scheduled for 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. March 16 to give as many people as possible an opportunity to attend. Both sessions will be held by Zoom only, with information posted on the township website.

“This is where we’ll get valuable input,” said commission President Bart Rocco. “Already we’ve had numerous people responding to our survey,”

The comprehensive plan is outlined on the township’s website, and residents are invited to participate in a survey on that site. Rocco said it’s important that the plan reflects what township residents want to see in their community, a view echoed by Commissioner Dan Poirier.

“This is going to show how the township is going to move ahead for the next 10 years, so we want as many people as possible to be involved,” Poirier said.
