Sadie R. Altimore, 92, of Monessen, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2020, in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc. She was born in Eagleville, Tenn., on April 2, 1928, the daughter of the late Samuel and Willie Clara Maupin Kelton. Sadie moved to Monessen in 1945, after her late husband, Michael E. Altimore, was discharged from the U.S. Army. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Frank Altimore; and by two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her grandson, Michael S. (Susan) Altimore of Murrysville; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Lynn (Don) Carrozza of Belle Vernon; a brother, Mickey Kelton; and a sister, Ruby Darks, both of Nashville, Tenn.; three great- grandchildren, Elliana, Frank and Carlina Altimore; and by a nephew, Timothy Altomore of Monessen. Friends will be received in DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES, 441 Reed Ave., Monessen, from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, 2020. Services will be held beginning with a 9:30 a.m. Blessing in the funeral home on Saturday, Sept.19, 2020, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 44 Pennsylvania Blvd., Monessen. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora. Everyone attending the viewing and services is asked to wear a mask and social distance and only 25 people at a time will be permitted in the funeral home.
