9-year-old raises cash to help Monongahela Library

Do you like to visit your local library?

One little boy from Monongahela loves his.

Alex Belluso, 9, son of Dr. Robert and Lynn-Ann Belluso of Monongahela, recently took it upon himself to do a little fundraising for the Monongahela Area Library.

Alex’s mom told him the library was struggling, so he decided to do something to help.

“I just wanted to help out the community because my mom told me that the library in town was struggling because they did not have enough money,” Alex said.
