Leps keep streaking, now 11-0

The Belle Vernon Area boys soccer team had to feel pretty confident heading into its Section 3-3A match with visiting Uniontown Tuesday night.

The Leps did, after all, defeat the Red Raiders handily, 10-0,  earlier this season.

A victory in the second meeting, however, was not as easy to come by.

Winless Uniontown gave Belle Vernon Area all it could handle for 65 minutes before falling to the hosts, 4-0, at James Weir Stadium.

Dylan Timko and Daniel Sassak each scored twice within an eight minute span in the second half for the Leopards (11-0, 8-0).
