PA Coach Lines has once again been ordered by Allegheny County Judge Christine Ward to provide transportation to all students in the Elizabeth Forward School District.

A conference with the judge was held Tuesday after the bus company failed to provide transportation on three routes Monday and notified the district Tuesday afternoon that it would not be providing transportation home from school Tuesday for students who rode Bus 117. That notification came at 12:40 p.m., according to district superintendent Dr. Todd Keruskin.

“EF principals at the affected schools then notified students and parents and tried to immediately make alternative transportation arrangements,” Keruskin said in a letter posted in the EF website.

The bus company stopped service on three bus lines Monday, notifying the district early Monday morning that it didn’t have qualified drivers to staff all 26 routes serving the district.
