For the second week in a row, Aimee Schmidt’s daughter had issues regarding her school bus.
Last week, the Elizabeth borough fifth-grader was one of two students who received burns on her foot when a hose burst in the rear engine compartment and sent steam into the passenger compartment.
Monday, she was one of 375 students left without transportation when PA Coach Lines notified the district that it didn’t have drivers for three buses.
“Today we got a text message at 7:16 a.m. saying there is no bus 114 and two others,” Schmidt said. “My daughter rides bus 114, so she’s home today.”
