Despite an injury to a key starter, the Frazier volleyball team continued its tear through Section 3-2A with a 3-0 sweep of visiting Beth-Center Thursday.
The Commodores (4-0, 3-0) played without libero Kathryn Barch, who is sidelined with an ankle injury.
“Jordin Brundege has been doing a great job defensively and I thought Mackenzie Kelly played really well for us there tonight,” head coach Mandy Hartman said. “We had a rotation error, but in Kenzie’s defense, we didn’t practice that rotation at all. I’m surprised we didn’t have more than the one.”
The Commodores won the first set by a score of 25-16, getting a cushion early on with a four-point run behind the strong play of Kaelyn Shaporka.
