The crystal anniversary of Auberle’s “Voices Carry,” its biggest annual fundraiser, is being held next month.
This week, Voices Carry event planners announced the entertainment line-up for the event and issued a plea for volunteers to sign-up to help staff it.
Money raised at Voices Carry benefits Auberle programs aimed at serving at-risk youths and their families. Since 1952, the human and social services organization has served more than 4,000 at-risk youths, individuals and families annually in eight counties in southwestern Pennsylvania through more than 20 programs.
A spiritual-based operation, Auberle serves about 60% of its clients at their homes, schools or within their communities. Auberle’s services include residential care, foster care, emergency shelter, in-home intervention, education, workforce development and drug and alcohol and mental health programs.
The fundraiser will be held from 6 to 10:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Westin Convention Center Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh.
