Union Cleaners slays Campy’s for Grebb League crown

Last summer, Union Cleaners won one game and finished last in the J. Budd Grebb Memorial Summer Basketball League boys division standings.
One year later, they have gone from worst to first after dethroning the two-time defending champions.
It was no easy task, but No. 3 Union Cleaners led for a majority of Thursday’s championship game, holding off a late push by top-seeded Campy’s to capture the 60-56 upset victory and claim its fourth title in team history.
