Winners in Cultural Trust art show recognized

Awards in the Mid Mon Valley Cultural Trust’s annual art and photography competition have been announced.

Contestants who participated in this year’s competition had their work displayed at SPHS in Charleroi during June.

Winning artists and photographers were presented with their awards during a July 9 ceremony.

The 2019 theme, “A Picture Speaks a Thousand Words,” challenged artists and photographers to create a picture or photograph along with a title that would tell a story or convey an emotion.
