A McKeesport man is in jail after his girlfriend’s daughter threatened to hit him with a frying pan.

Michael Emanue Grier Jr., 35, of Eaton Street is charged with possession with intent to deliver, prohibit acts and two counts of possession following a verbal domestic incident at his girlfriend’s Evans Avenue apartment on Monday.

Tianshia Trent told McKeesport police that she and Grier were arguing when her young daughter, who is not identified, attempted to intervene by going to the kitchen, grabbing a frying pan and threatening Grier with it if he did not “settle down,” an affidavit of probable cause states.

The situation prompted Grier to stop arguing and go into a bedroom and start packing his belongings, according to police.
