WEST MIFFLIN,
FORMERLY OF
MONESSEN
James E. Fontanelli, 63, of West Mifflin, formerly of Monessen, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at his home. Born Oct. 22, 1955, in Belle Vernon, he was the son of the late Arthur and Annie Amoroso Fontanelli. Jim was a third-generation steelworker and was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Ward Fontanelli; daughter, Brooke Boyce of Canonsburg; and three grandchildren, Dominic Jaffre, Valentina Boyce and Christopher Boyce. Visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. I kneel down and pray before God to accept me into his kingdom so I may travel to “the great gig in the sky” to see, meet and visit all of my family members, past and future, and connect with all of the friends I have gratefully met on my 63-year journey on this beautiful planet. Nancy, I will sadly miss you the most and keep “shining on.” Love you … me. Condolences accepted at the funeral home’s website, www.parzynskifuneralhome.com.
