Ringgold gets back on track
By JEFF OLIVER

The Ringgold Rams took a big step toward claiming a share of the Section 3-4A title while Elizabeth Forward put its playoff chances in jeopardy.
That’s the story in a nutshell after Ringgold defeated the Warriors, 6-1, at Ken Griffey Field Tuesday.
The Rams (11-5, 10-3) need to beat Uniontown today to tie for the section title with Thomas Jefferson (13-5, 11-3).
Meanwhile, EF (10-7, 7-6) is on the outside looking in right now. The Warriors can earn a playoff spot only with a win over Belle Vernon Area (10-6, 8-5) at home today. It would leave the Warriors and Leps tied for the final spot with a 1-1 season series.
With Ringgold’s win, BVA is in the playoffs.
