Rostraver Historical Society, Mon City Garden Club get mini-grants

Another round of mini-grants have been awarded by the Mon Valley Alliance.
The newest recipients are the Rostraver Township Historical Society and the Mon City Community Garden.
The Town to Town mini-grant is a new program of the Alliance’s Community Development Fund, which supports projects from educational institutions and schools, religious organizations, municipal organizations, parks and recreation and other groups that benefit the quality of life in the Mon Valley with primary areas of focus for parks and recreation, arts and culture, children, youth and elderly, health and fitness and community improvement.
The $250 grants are awarded each month to different organizations through a rolling application process.
