Eagles set lofty goals for upcoming season

Over the last four years, including the last three under head coach Denny Willaman, the WPIAL quarterfinals have served as the ceiling for the Serra Catholic softball team.
The Eagles have made strides in trying to get over the hump during that span, but haven’t quite been able to.
“We’ve been close over the last few years,” Willaman said.
Entering 2019, the fourth-year head coach believes he has a group capable of breaking through and making a deeper run through the WPIAL playoffs.
