Monessen library bringing back expert on Bigfoot, UFOs

Fans of the mysterious and unexplained are invited to the strangest event of its kind when Stan Gordon returns to Monessen Public Library.
A world-renowned Bigfoot and UFO expert based in Greensburg, Gordon will host “Astonishing Pennsylvania Encounters: Past and Present” at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Donner Avenue library.
The program will highlight some of the most famous and unusual UFO and Bigfoot sightings and strange encounters with cryptids and other unexplained phenomena Gordon has investigated in his 60 years of work.
Gordon will introduce attendees to a host of mysterious beings, including thunderbirds, black panthers and water creatures reported in the state’s rivers and lakes.
