Auberle of McKeesport has announced plans for its annual All-Star Banquet.
“Many of the youth Auberle serves are not accustomed to hearing words like ‘Good job’ or ‘Congratulations,’” Auberle spokeswoman Erin Rhodes said. “The annual All-Star Banquet is Auberle’s opportunity to celebrate youth and families and their accomplishments throughout the year. The event will include awards for excellence in academics, athletics, community service, work ethic and artistic expression.”
Auberle is a faith-based, Catholic nonprofit organization that helps build strong individuals, families and communities across southwestern Pennsylvania, according to its mission statement.
Last year, Auberle served 4,000 people through more than 20 programs. Auberle’s services include the 412 Youth Zone, workforce development, foster care, housing and shelter services, placement services, drug and alcohol and mental health programs, education and in-home intervention.
