Eric Smith could articulate for a while on why his McKeesport team fell to North Catholic Saturday afternoon.
He could touch on the 14-6 second quarter, or more importantly, the 18-4 third and what fueled it. But any in-depth analysis would do just as well as a simple fact: North Catholic is just really good and really talented.
That was apparent earlier this month when the Trojans captured the WPIAL title, their third in a row.
