Lovett hired to coach BVA girls

For the Belle Vernon Area girls soccer program, it’s time to come together.
That’s the message from its new head coach.
By a unanimous vote Tuesday, the school board hired former assistant coach Tracy Lovett to succeed Tom Cameron.
Cameron, who guided the Leopards to an undefeated section championship and an overall record of 13-4, had his job opened Dec. 17 in controversial fashion.
