The NWS issued a flood warning Monday morning in anticipation of more than one inch of rain expected to move through the area today.
The warning, which will affect the Monongahela River at the Charleroi and Elizabeth locks and dam, is expected to remain until Wednesday evening.
At the Charleroi Locks and Dam, water levels are expected to reach the flood stage of about 28 feet by 1 a.m. Wednesday.
