Demolition to start soon for buildings alongside Coyle

Two buildings next to the Coyle Theater in Charleroi will soon come down.
Alliance Solicitor Todd Pappasergi said the demolition is expected to take about a month. After the buildings come down, the sites will be graded and made ready for future development.
Pappasergi said the organization will work to seek other funding and resources to move the project forward, but he is primarily worried about safety.
“Our number one goal right now is working with Charleroi borough to ensure public safety and to make sure that site remains secure and is feasible for future builds,” he said.
