During the first half of the girls basketball season, scoring has not been a problem for the Frazier Commodores.
On Monday evening, Frazier rolled to a 63-22 win over visiting Bentworth in Section 3-AA, and it marked the fifth time this season that the Commodores have piled up at least 60 points on an opponent.
But after the game, Frazier coach Ken Poling was more impressed with the way his team played when it didn’t have the ball.
“Our defense always sparks us,” Ken Poling said. “When we don’t play well defensively, our offense struggles. Everything clicks for us when we play good defense.”
