BVA’s Joll claims WCCA title at Norwin

Belle Vernon Area’s Scott Joll picked up the 182-pound title at the Westmoreland County Coaches Association Tournament at Norwin High School Saturday. 

Joll, a West Virginia University commit, earned a pinfall victory over Mt. Pleasant’s Dayton Pitzer to win the championship. 

Joll also picked up victories over Penn-Trafford’s Conner Shirey, Souhmoreland’s Anthony Govern and Burrell’s Ricky Feroce. 

Logan Seliga finished third for the Leopards while Jake Fine picked up a fourth place finish. As a team, BVA finished 12th in the 15-team field with 61.5 points.
