BVA starts search for superintendent

Belle Vernon Area school board ousted its varsity girls soccer head coach Monday, but that wasn’t the only controversial personnel matter on the agenda.

Prior to a contentious vote to open coach Tom Cameron’s position, the board narrowly approved initiating a “professional and ethical executive search” for a new superintendent.
