Local runners excel at WPIAL XC meet

A number of local cross country runners claimed medalist honors at the WPIAL Cross Country Championships Thursday at California University.

Ringgold, Belle Vernon Area and Serra Catholic were each represented well as they had runners advance to Saturday’s PIAA State Championships in Hershey.
