Serra may be ready for playoff success

After three straight years of first-round playoff losses, Serra Catholic may be ready for a long postseason run.
Coach Ashley Dorn returns eight starters, including two of the most dynamic players in the area, Madison Carr and Jaime Dermotta.
Carr, a junior forward with 44 career goals, was a WPIAL all-section choice in 2017 and was a second-team selection on the Mon Valley Independent’s Fabulous 15 squad.
